THE UPRISING STUDENT GROUP

Our newest series will take students through epic stories where God used people in amazing ways to bring about his purpose. It’s just the kind of series you need to hear for the epic things God can do through you in your school.

We currently have several areas to serve in.

SOUND

We run full bands comprised only of high school and middle school students at every service. Our biggest challenge is to field volunteers who can run a soundboard for them at the times they practice and perform. We will work with any one’s schedule for any availability you have. Our desire is to have a team of people who can work with our sound guy Johnny Fraga. He can also train you and familiarize you with our schedule needs and equipment.

Practices happen on Monday night and Thursday night. The bands lead worship on Sundays and Wednesday nights. Sound leaders will serve on rotation at different spots in that slate of times and not at all times. Again, we want to schedule volunteers who can give a one night or one service on Sunday morning. HIGH SCHOOL LEADERS

There are primarily two options for leading high school students. We need care givers who can lead a small group and developing mentoring relationships with two to no more than three students. We will provide training and partner you with a seasoned vet. Contact Chad at chad.swanzy@gmail.com.

We also have leaders who can be connectors. Connectors come to our large group experience and meet students with the intent of bridging them into the community so they can become connected. They also help with task related jobs to help support events and experiences for high school students. Contact Chad at chad.swanzy@gmail.com.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SMALL GROUP LEADERS

We currently have a need for small group leaders at our 12:30pm service on Sunday morning. Training and materials provided. Contact Chad at chad.swanzy@gmail.com.

GUYS AND GIRLS

A look at what makes the opposite sex tick and how God’s design can help us know how to better understand each other. This series is also a great chance to understand what a healthy relationship looks like in life according to God’s word.
